Smacznego!
This was the best ham we ever had, lean, tasty & moist. I cooked it in the crockpot, with a brown sugar, ham & ginger glaze. Can't wait to order it for Easter!
What a tasty treat! I made it in the crockpot 3.5 hours on low. Before I put it into the crockpot I scored the top of the ham in squares. I then made my Brown Sugar Glaze recipe, brown sugar, OJ, ground ginger. I cooked it on the stove in the saucepan, put some brown sugar down, as a base in the crockpot, put the ham in, scored side up, & poured the glaze over the ham. Benefit of making it in the crockpot, the glaze can be poured over immediately, unlike roasting the ham in the oven, which you can only apply the glaze the last 1/2 hour. so it doesn't burn. The benefit of pouring the glaze at the beginning is the ham is ever so moist.
We can't wait till Easter for more of this ham!!
Delicious and fall-apart tender. My Thanksgiving guests took the little that was left home with them, and I resented it.
Best SZYNKA ever.
