Polish Kołaczki Mix
There are certain foods that instantly bring back the tastes of home, and cookies are often at the top of that list. One of the best known types of Polish cookies are, Kołaczki. Though their origin is uncertain, most people of Polish decent will easily recognize them, as they were a common item found in the kitchen notebooks of our Polish grandmothers. These semi puff-pastry cookies fold in the middle over a dab of lightly sweet fruit jam (in a variety of flavors) and are finished off with a light dusting of powdered sugar. A delicate sweet and a classic Polish treat that will bring back the sentiments of childhood and home for many.

They were wonderful for our dessert. The kids loved them. I am recovering from foot surgery was wasn't able to bake like I normally do, this was an excellent choice.
