Polish Easter Cake - Mazurek
Mazurek – Traditional Polish Easter Cake
Colorful, rich, and beautifully decorative, the Mazurek is one of Poland’s most iconic Easter desserts. Though its form can vary—from shortbread-style bases to layered sponge cakes—what all Mazurek cakes share is their vibrant presentation and symbolic place at the Easter table.
Traditionally baked to mark the joyful end of Lent, Mazurek is often topped with fruit preserves, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, or nuts arranged in intricate patterns that reflect the spring season and festive celebration of Easter.
Polana’s seasonal Mazurek is made with a delicate shortbread-style crust, layered with a tangy rose hip jam, rich butterscotch topping, and beautifully arranged almond shavings, coconut flakes, and candied fruit. It’s a flavorful and festive centerpiece for your Easter dessert spread.
Available for a limited time only during the Easter season.
